The questions people ask most about letters, deadlines and to-do lists — answered plainly.

How do I turn a letter into a to-do?

Open the letter and Post-Plus already shows what needs doing. Tap Add task and it appears on your to-do list, linked back to the letter it came from. Anything with a date can also be added to your calendar in the same place.

Do I have to set it all up first?

No. You sign in and your inbox is ready. Verified organisations deliver post to your personal Post-Plus address, and you can upload a PDF or photograph a paper letter whenever you like.

Does it create tasks automatically, or do I confirm first?

You stay in control. Post-Plus suggests the tasks and dates it finds, and nothing is added to your list or calendar until you choose to add it.

Is my post private and secure?

Yes. Documents are encrypted, only you can see them, and there is never any advertising based on what your post says. You can also hide money amounts and personal details from lists and alerts.

Can it handle paper letters, not just email?

Yes. Photograph a paper letter with your phone and it is read, sorted and turned into actions and dates exactly like post delivered digitally.

How does it know the deadline?

It reads the dates in the letter — pay by, reply by, appointment on — and shows them as deadlines. You can always change a date or add your own.

Will I lose the original letter?

Never. The original document is always kept exactly as it arrived, and every task, date and explanation links straight back to it.

What about reminders and priorities?

Letters are marked no action, information, action required or deadline approaching, so the urgent things stand out. Dates you add to your calendar carry a reminder the day before.

Can it tell what is urgent from what is just noise?

Yes. Each letter is sorted by how much attention it needs, and only the ones that genuinely need something from you appear in your Action Centre.

Can I reply or act on the letter in the same place?

Yes. You can sign where supported, draft a reply, share the letter with a private PIN-protected link, and mark it complete — all without leaving Post-Plus.
